Under the “Speak Up!” project, the Child and Youth Group in Satkhira Municipality took the initiative to raise community awareness on preventing Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (OSAE) — with a can of paint and their own words.

After discussing the idea in a group meeting, the young members secured permission from a wall owner and painted safety messages in their own handwriting, encouraging children, young people, and community members to use the internet safely, protect their personal information, and stay alert to online risks.

The wall quickly caught the community’s attention, with local residents praising the children’s creativity and leadership. It now serves as a daily, visible reminder of online safety for everyone who passes by — a small but lasting example of how “Speak Up!” is turning children into active agents of change in their own communities.
